Are you scared and nervous about going to the gym? I got you. In this video I’m going to give you some of my gym anxiety tips and techniques so you can stop avoiding gym and finally crush that workout.

Over the last few years I’ve helped many professionals, entrepreneur, celebrities, moms and dads, build their bodies and return to optimal health using my principles and now I’m here to help you do the same. One of my clients used the tips I’m about to give you to get ready for her first gym outing in years. Now she has the confidence to hit the gym on her own on days we are not training. So if she can do it, you can do it.

 

 Step one: Get your gym bag ready the night before.

To allieviate stress this is one of my favorite gym anxiety tips and techniques. That way you don’t have to worry about it in the morning. You’re all prepared and ready to go. That’s one less thing you gotta worry about.

 

Step two: Have a workout plan.

 

If you don’t know what you’re working on, you’re going to be stressed out. Find a cool fitness app that gives you some guidance. Side note the app should not be used for more than a week. I will explain more in step five.

 

Step three: Find a workout buddy.

Seeing people you know and like helps lower anxiety and boost dopamine that feel good chemical in your brain.

 

Step four: Remember that no one’s judging you.

You have to remember that most people aren’t at the gym for you. They’re focused on their own workout and you should be too.

 

Step five: If you need help hire a personal trainer.

Not all trainers are not created equally. You get what you pay for. So when doing your research, do your due diligence and make sure the trainer you choose is a good fit for you.
